NEGATIVE TEST OR VACCINATION REQUIREMENT

After seeing first-hand the low transmission data alongside the rising vaccination rate of eligible Americans, we feel confident that we can safely update our policy for Desert Air that allows for negative covid test taken within 72 hours of the event OR proof of full vaccination.

Our Health & Safety policy & FAQ's HERE are regularly updated in consideration for our fans, artists and event workers based on our ever-developing circumstances. Plans and mandates may continue to change. We will continue to update this page with developments and more details closer to the festival.

PROVIDING PROOF OF VACCINATION OR NEGATIVE TEST RESULT

In order to pick up wristband for entry, all attendees must:

Provide printed or digital proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. “Full vaccination” means 14 days or more following the final dose of a US FDA approved or WHO recognized vaccine against COVID-19 (e.g., Moderna, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca/SK Bioscience, Serum Institute of India/COVISHIELD and Vaxzevria, Sinopharm, and Sinovac).

OR

A printed or digital negative COVID-19 test result (molecular, PCR or antigen) that was administered by an official testing center. Test results must display name, result, and timestamp in order to be accepted. Name on the test result must match the Government issued ID of the attendee to gain entry. The test must be taken no earlier than 72 hours (3 days) prior to your first entry into the festival. (e.g for entering the event on Fri, December 10th, the test must be taken on Tues, December 7th or later.) If entering the festival on Friday, negative result will be honored for both event days. Home testing kit results will not be accepted for entry.

Your photo ID must match the name on your proof of vaccination or negative test documentation.

ON-SITE/NEARBY COVID TESTING:

  • There will be rapid COVID-19 testing services by Northshore Clinical Labs at the event.
    • Other Northshore Clinical Labs testing locations can be found HERE.
  • Get tested other locations ahead of time: Palm Spring options can be found HERE and LA County options can be found HERE.
